Caserta Police have arrested an Italian citizen, aged 56, for possession with intent to supply. Officers from Aversa Police Station seized 14 doses of cocaine and cash during an anti-drugs operation.

In the Caserta area, officers from Aversa Police Station arrested a 56-year-old Italian man accused of selling illegal substances. The operation took place yesterday as part of targeted checks against drug trafficking.

During patrols in the municipal area, two people were caught exchanging something suspicious. Officers immediately stopped both individuals.

A search of the buyer revealed one dose of white powder, later confirmed to be cocaine. At the supplier's location, investigators found fourteen wrappings of the same substance, plus a sum of cash believed to be the proceeds of the illicit transaction.

The customer was reported to the Administrative Authority under article 75 of Decree of the President of the Republic 309/1990. The alleged dealer was held under house arrest pending immediate trial at the Court of Naples North, on the order of the duty public prosecutor.
