Last wanted suspect in Cesena station drug dealing arrested in Rimini
As reported by Google News IT — Crime (it), on Saturday 4 July operatives from the Polfer identified and arrested at Rimini railway station the last of those under investigation as part of the anti-drug operation conducted by the Cesena Local Police in the area of the city's railway station.
Only he was missing to complete the picture: the tenth member of a network engaged in drug trafficking, recipient of a precautionary order still pending, who had remained untraceable for months.
The main operation had taken place between 16 and 17 February, when the 'Fiorini' Command of Dell'Amore, with the support of the Cesenatico Local Police and the Rubicone and Mare Union, had carried out 10 precautionary measures at the conclusion of a lengthy investigative activity. Seven of those under investigation had been placed under pre-trial detention in prison, two placed under an obligation to report to the judicial police. Only one man had escaped: according to what emerged, during that period he was abroad, making it impossible to execute the measure immediately.
The search continued in the following months until the fugitive was identified over the weekend, when the arrest was carried out in execution of the precautionary order.
The municipal assessor for security Luca Ferrini commented: "It is further confirmation of how the daily work of our officers can translate into concrete results for the territory and for the community. These results are even more significant when they arise from collaboration and coordination between different Local Police Commands, an operational approach we have been pursuing for years, and from synergy with the other law enforcement forces".
