Stazzano, gunfire against Town Hall and school: 19-year-old arrested, two others reported
In the night between 7 and 8 May, gunshots were fired at public buildings in Stazzano (Alessandria). A 19-year-old was arrested, two peers reported.

Carabinieri arrested a 19-year-old and reported two other young adults just over the age of majority following a series of gunshots fired at public buildings in Stazzano, in the province of Alessandria, in the night between 7 and 8 May, according to ANSA Cronaca.
The primary school and Town Hall were targeted. The officers, who arrived at the scene, established that doors and windows had not been damaged from inside, but had been struck by bullets fired from the square in front of the buildings.
The Operational Unit of Novi Ligure and the Scientific Investigations Section of the Alessandria Operational Unit also arrived at the scene. In total, seven cartridge cases and three unexploded bullets were recovered, all traceable to the same weapon.
The identity of the three young people emerged from analysis of images from surveillance systems at multiple points in the town and from statements by several people, who provided details about tattoos and clothing. In the footage, the three moved away from the square; one of them was holding a pistol.
During a search of the latter's home, a 7.65 calibre pistol was found, believed to be the weapon used to fire the shots. The weapon, still loaded, was seized pending scientific and ballistic analysis. Preliminary investigations revealed it had been stolen five years ago in Ancona.
Images posted by the young people on their own social media profiles were also considered useful in reconstructing the incident.
