Third trial suspended for Felice Maniero: depression incompatible with court attendance
The Brescia Court has suspended another proceeding against the former boss of the Mala del Brenta. It is the third suspension in a few months.

According to ANSA Cronaca, the Brescia Court has suspended the third judicial proceeding against Felice Maniero, former boss of the Mala del Brenta. The bench found that the defendant's depressive state was incompatible with participation in court hearings.
The trial concerns an accusation of aggravated personal injury against a police officer and a doctor, following a dispute at a shopping centre over a parking matter.
The bench accepted requests from the defence, represented by lawyer Rolando Iorio, ordering the suspension of the proceeding and a medical assessment of the defendant's health conditions. According to the defence, the basis for the measure was "substantial medical documentation" filed by the lawyer himself and deemed by the judges worthy of technical examination.
This is the third suspension within a few months: previously, the trial for fraudulent bankruptcy before the Brescia Court and that for maltreatment underway in Pisa had been suspended, both for similar reasons.
