Trapper Tony Boy left Milan's San Vittore prison on Tuesday shortly after 7 p.m. The Corriere della Sera reported this — in its Cronache section — and documented the moment of his release with a video.
A group of friends was waiting for him outside the gate, including Tarig Salaheldin Mohamed Ayman, who was stopped alongside him on Saturday morning and is currently under investigation at liberty for resisting a public official. Shortly before his release, the same people had brusquely turned away a number of young fans gathered outside the prison.
When the gate opened there followed long embraces and shouts of joy. "Ciao brò" and "bella" were the words exchanged between the rapper and those waiting for him. The group then got into a black Land Rover loaded with suitcases — the same vehicle in which the two had been stopped on Saturday — and headed towards Padua.
In the Veneto capital, the singer, whose full name is Antonio Hueber, 26, will serve house arrest at his parents' home. The measure was issued on the same day by the investigating judge Chiara Valori.
The investigating judge validated the arrest in flagrante delicto exclusively for the possession of an illegal Beretta calibre 6.35 pistol and about fifty rounds of ammunition. She instead rejected the prosecutor's precautionary request regarding the charge of possession with intent to traffic in cocaine, marijuana and hashish.
The validation hearing had taken place in the morning before the same judge and lasted just over an hour.
