Two foreign nationals were arrested in Trento for possession of cocaine intended for distribution.

In the Trentino capital, law enforcement arrested two individuals accused of selling controlled substances during the course of the same day.
The first arrest took place in the Piedicastello area during the morning hours. Officers intercepted a twenty-year-old from another country, already known to investigators for previous drug-related offences. The young man was found to be carrying over 10 grammes of cocaine.
Later, in the late afternoon, the second arrest was made. Police observed a thirty-one-year-old foreign national, also with a criminal record, get into a car and leave shortly afterwards. Subsequent investigations confirmed that the driver had just purchased a dose of controlled substances. The seller was found to have 185 euros in cash, in different denominations, presumably the proceeds of the illegal transaction.
Both detainees were taken into custody pending validation by the judicial authorities.
