Police reported a young man from Villaguardia for drug dealing and illegal carrying of a weapon after stopping him in his car.

The Mobile Squad of the Como Police Headquarters has charged a 21-year-old boy with possession of narcotics for the purposes of dealing and illegal possession of a weapon. The young man, who lives in Villaguardia, was stopped late yesterday afternoon in via Milano.
During a routine patrol operation, officers decided to stop the vehicle being driven by the suspect. Inside the car, a strong smell of narcotic substance was detected. Consequently, officials carried out a thorough search.
In the back of the car, concealed beneath a textile covering, a rucksack was discovered. Inside were two household containers with eleven plastic sachets filled with grass, for a total weight of 88 grammes. Next to the drugs, a collapsible knife measuring 17 centimetres in length was also found.
The 21-year-old was referred to the judicial authorities for the offences of illicit trafficking in psychotropic substances and possession of implements capable of causing injury. The investigation is continuing under the direction of investigators from the Police Headquarters.
