According to reports from Google News IT — Crime (it), carabinieri from the Radiomobile section of the Pozzuoli Company have arrested four young people with no previous convictions found in possession of "white hash", a narcotic substance never previously seized in the Campania capital. This is the first time the drug has been found in Naples.
The operation began after officers of the Arma noticed a young man riding an e-bike near Via Serao, who fled upon seeing them and took refuge in a garage. The military personnel forced their way into the box, finding the four young people inside along with a rucksack containing 1,500 euros in cash, a precision scale, 100 grammes of hashish and marijuana and a small jar with 7 grammes of "white hash". The arrested individuals are two 26-year-olds, a 22-year-old and a 20-year-old, all charged with possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of distribution.
White hashish, named for its unusually light colour, is obtained through cold separation techniques that isolate the heads of resin glands without applying heat, thereby avoiding the oxidation that darkens the final compound. This processing technique produces a THC concentrate capable of exceeding 70%, compared to the 10-30% of traditional hashish.
Investigations by the carabinieri continue to reconstruct the distribution chain that brought the substance into the province of Naples.
