An argument that escalated into tragedy has led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man, accused of voluntary manslaughter. The incident occurred on Sunday evening in a car park in Zibido San Giacomo, in the Milan area. The victim, a 31-year-old man, died on the spot after being hit by a vehicle.

According to an initial reconstruction, the two had begun to argue, probably over a woman. At a certain point, the 31-year-old allegedly drew a pistol and fired two blank shots. The other man, in response, got into his car and hit his rival, killing him.

Carabinieri from Milan attended the scene and arrested the driver of the vehicle. The investigation is being coordinated by the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office. Investigators are reviewing images from surveillance cameras in the area to precisely reconstruct the sequence of events.
