On the evening of 13 April, at approximately 21:00, someone removed goods worth nearly 300 euros from a shop operating on Kaunas Northern Avenue. It is suspected that the theft was committed by two men whose faces were captured by security cameras.

The investigators at the Žaliakalnio division of Kaunas District Police Headquarters are now conducting a pre-trial investigation. They want to find the individuals visible in the video footage who may be able to help clarify what happened. They are also asking for information if anyone knows where these men are currently located.

Officers are asking residents who recognise the individuals visible in the photographs or who can provide other valuable information to call +370 700 64 973 or email [email protected].

Under the Lithuanian Criminal Code, such a theft may result in a fine, restriction of liberty, arrest or deprivation of liberty for up to four years.
