A utility vehicle caught fire in Joteliškiai village on Monday evening, and a saloon car burned in Lentvarynas at night. Police have launched a pre-trial investigation into the first fire.
Car burns in Elektrėnai municipality, suspected arson
On Monday evening, at around 20.08, a 2000 model Hyundai Galloper utility vehicle caught fire in Joteliškiai village, Elektrėnai municipality. After firefighters were notified of the fire, police officers rushed to the scene. Police suspect the car was set alight, so a pre-trial investigation has been launched.
That same night, at around 04.06, an Audi A6 car also burned out in Lentvarynas. The cause of its ignition has not yet been determined.
