The victim, who worked as a driver for Translima line 18, was murdered under circumstances that authorities are still investigating. Following the incident, police officers launched an operation that made it possible to locate and detain the three suspected individuals.

The case has generated concern among workers in the capital's transport sector, due to the violence they face daily. Authorities are continuing their investigations to determine whether those detained participated directly in the homicide or have links to other criminal organisations operating in the area.

Those detained were placed at the disposal of the corresponding prosecution office so that preliminary proceedings could be initiated.
