Recycler shot dead at the door of his business in Cercado de Lima

A recycler of approximately 45 years of age was shot dead outside his own business on the 6th block of Morales Duárez avenue, at the level of the E.T. bus stop, in Cercado de Lima, reported rpp.pe.

According to a neighbour in the area, the attacker was a heavyset man dressed in a black polo shirt and jeans. After firing the shots, the man boarded a vehicle and escaped down Cárcamo avenue.

Forensic experts from the Criminal Investigation Unit found two bullet casings next to the body and five more halfway down the block. The Police suspect, based on that evidence, that the victim was pursued until the moment he received the fatal shots.

The deceased was wearing a cap, blue polo shirt, black trousers and a waist bag around his waist. His body would be transferred to the Lima morgue in the hours following the incident.

Neighbours in the area warned rpp.pe that the sector has become increasingly violent and that this is not the first time they have witnessed bloodshed on that stretch of Morales Duárez avenue.
