A card-seller was shot dead inside the Jorge Chávez Metro station in the district of Surco, according to americatv.com.pe. Security cameras recorded the exact moment of the attack.

The images show how one of the assailants entered the station wearing a hood and mask. After identifying the victim—who worked performing card recharges in public places—he shot him without the victim being able to defend himself.

The second accomplice waited outside with a motorcycle. Once the shot was fired, the attacker ran out and both fled the scene on the motorcycle.

The crime took place in the presence of a large number of people, which caused panic and confusion among those present. Despite the proximity of authorities, the criminals managed to escape quickly, taking advantage of the crowding at the station as cover.
