Google News PL — Crime (pl) reports on the detention of an 18-year-old Czech national to whom the court imposed three months in custody in connection with fraud committed against a resident of Rzeszów County. The woman has already been formally charged.

As explained by Senior Inspector Ewelina Wrona from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Rzeszów, the victim has recovered both the money and gold jewellery lost as a result of the criminals' actions. The detention took place as a result of police actions actively pursuing perpetrators of this type of crime.

Wrona drew attention to a broader problem. A resident of Łańcut County lost nearly 130,000 zloty after he became interested in an online advertisement and decided to purchase shares of a state treasury company. "Fraudsters use every opportunity that presents itself to extort our savings," Senior Inspector Wrona emphasised.

Police appeal for particular caution regarding investment offers appearing online and assure that they continue to take all measures to apprehend perpetrators of this type of crime.
