Police from the Małopolska region detained a 24-year-old man in Spain suspected of leading an organised criminal group committing fraud using the "legend scheme" method. A Ferrari worth over one million zlotys was seized in Kraków.

Officers from the Małopolska police force made an arrest in Spain of a 24-year-old man who, according to investigators, directed the activities of a criminal group. Members of this organisation defrauded money from elderly people using the so-called "legend scheme" method, which involves posing as family members in need.
The suspect was wanted by arrest warrant and European Arrest Warrant. International cooperation enabled his apprehension on Spanish territory.
As part of parallel operational activities conducted in Poland, officers in Kraków seized a luxury Ferrari 458 vehicle. The value of the vehicle exceeds one million zlotys – the suspect used it whilst conducting criminal activity.
