Police in Andrychów arrested a wanted 26-year-old at the railway station. The man had amphetamine on him and was taken into custody.
Wanted Andrychów resident with drugs at railway station
According to malopolska.policja.gov.pl, a police intervention in the area of the railway station in Andrychów resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old resident of the city. The incident took place on 8 September, shortly after midnight.
Officers from the patrol and intervention unit of the Andrychów police station went to the railway station area on the basis of previously obtained information about individuals who might be in possession of prohibited substances. At the scene, they checked the identification of a woman and a man.
A check of police databases revealed that the 26-year-old was wanted by the court in Wadowice—in order to establish his whereabouts and serve a substitute custodial sentence of 44 days. During the check, officers found a substance on him which turned out to be amphetamine.
The man was charged with possession of narcotic substances, which he admitted. After the conclusion of proceedings, he was taken into custody, where he will serve his sentence.
