26-year-old arrested in Kraków with 300 grammes of drugs
Kraków detectives have arrested a 26-year-old drug dealer in possession of nearly 300 grammes of prohibited substances. The man was wanted to serve 2.5 years in prison.
Arrest of drug dealer on Kraków's Centralna Street
According to the police, officers from the Drug Enforcement Division arrested the 26-year-old on 24 September on Centralna Street in Kraków. At the time of his arrest, he had nearly 300 grammes of drugs and one thousand zloty in cash on him.
Detectives had been monitoring the specified address following operational intelligence. When police officers knocked on the apartment door, observers from outside noticed the man throwing a plastic bag containing psychoactive substances out of the window. Upon entering the apartment, officers arrested the 26-year-old and secured the remainder of the substance. A pneumatic pistol and a dangerous tool were found additionally in his vehicle.
The arrested man admitted that he intended to throw out the plastic bag to avoid being charged with drug possession. The man was also wanted to serve a combined sentence of 2.5 years in prison. The secured drugs were valued at approximately one thousand zloty. He faces up to 3 years imprisonment for possession of psychoactive substances.
