Officers from Kępno arrested a resident of Rychtal commune suspected of violence against family members. The 30-year-old abused his own parents both psychologically and physically.
The home was not lacking in humiliating and degrading situations. The perpetrator repeatedly behaved aggressively under the influence of alcohol – he grabbed his parents, pushed them and threatened to take their lives. Insults were commonplace.
Police officers, on the basis of collected evidence, arrested the aggressive man. The prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Kępno on 5 July decided to apply preventative measures. The suspect was placed under police supervision, issued a ban on contacting the victims – both in person and through means of communication – and ordered to leave the shared flat for a period of three months.
