A 34-year-old Ukrainian national was removed from Polish territory and subject to a ban on entry into the Schengen area effective for the next decade. The decision came after the man was convicted of committing a series of fraud offences and subsequently ignored his obligation to appear to serve a prison sentence.

According to information provided by the authorities, the deportation was justified on grounds of security and public order protection. The Ukrainian national, who committed multiple frauds on Polish territory, was deemed to pose a threat to state security.
