Officers from the local police headquarters in Dąbrowa Górnicza detained a resident of the city. During a search of his premises, they found several packets of illegal substances in a freezer. An inspection of the vehicle yielded further discoveries.
As a result of the action taken, officers seized nearly 3.5 kg of amphetamine, as well as marijuana, hashish and a substance from the 2C-B group. The total weight of seized materials exceeded 4 kilogrammes. The confiscated components could have been used to produce over 55,000 doses intended for further resale.
The man was taken into police custody and subsequently transported to the prosecutor's office. He was charged with illegal possession of large quantities of narcotic substances and psychotropic preparations. The penal code provides for penalties of up to ten years imprisonment for such offences. The court accepted the motion of the investigators and prosecution, imposing isolation on the suspect for the next three months.
