Aggressive 46-year-old from Boguchała arrested for three months for violence and threats
Police in Boguchała detained a 46-year-old man who abused his family and made threats against paramedics. The District Court in Rzeszów ordered his pre-trial detention for three months.
Arrest for aggressor from Boguchała: threatened paramedics and abused family
According to podkarpacka.policja.gov.pl, officers from the police station in Boguchała detained a 46-year-old man who instigated a domestic disturbance and attacked both household members and paramedics who arrived at the scene.
Police officers were summoned after a report of domestic violence. At the scene, they established that the man had subjected those close to him to physical and psychological abuse and had threatened them with death. One of the people present at the scene required medical assistance.
When a paramedic team arrived at the scene, the 46-year-old directed his aggression at the paramedics. He threatened one of them with death and attempted to bite another.
The man was detained and placed in police custody. The gathered evidence made it possible to bring three charges against him: abuse of family members — in one case causing moderate injury to a victim's health — assault on a public official, criminal threats, and attempted assault.
The case files were sent to the District Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów. The prosecutor assessed that the man's actions warranted particular condemnation and that, if released, he could commit further offences. The prosecutor accordingly requested pre-trial detention.
The District Court in Rzeszów fully agreed with the prosecutor's position. The suspect will spend the next three months in pre-trial detention.
