Criminal investigators from Kłodzko police headquarters detained a young man suspected of possessing large quantities of prohibited substances. Plant material, methamphetamine and amphetamine, and portioning equipment were discovered in the flat. The court ordered a three-month remand in custody.

Police officers from the criminal division of the county police headquarters in Kłodzko detained a 27-year-old man. Officers suspect him of accumulating significant quantities of prohibited substances.
During a search of the detainee, officers found a plastic package containing plant material. Tests confirmed the presence of marijuana. The investigators did not exclude the possibility that the man had a larger stockpile, so they proceeded to his residential flat.
During the search of the premises, two small bags containing plant material were discovered, as well as two plastic packages with crystalline material. In a refrigeration appliance, another package was found containing white powder shaped into a ball. An electronic scale, small bags used for dividing into portions, and a telephone device were also seized.
The weight of the confiscated substances totalled nearly 300 grammes. According to investigators, this quantity would have been sufficient to prepare hundreds of doses intended for sale.
Laboratory analysis confirmed that the seized substances were prohibited narcotic and psychotropic drugs. The gathered material made it possible to bring charges, including an attempt to transfer psychotropic substance to another person for financial gain.
The district court in Kłodzko, considering the prosecutor's application, ordered a three-month remand in custody for the suspect.
The proceedings are ongoing. Officers continue to establish the circumstances of the case, the origin of the substances, and any possible involvement of other persons.
The penal code provides for a sentence of up to ten years' imprisonment for possession of significant quantities of narcotics.
