An emotional moment took place in the courtroom in Poznań. Arkadiusz Kraska, a man who spent 19 years in prison, stood before the court of justice once again.

During the hearing, Kraska filed a motion for discontinuation of proceedings against him at the preliminary investigation stage. The defence justified this step with legal arguments.

The prosecution, however, took a different position. Investigators believed that the case should be examined in a full court trial, rather than being terminated at an earlier stage.
