Krasnystaw police found marijuana, mephedrone and THC-containing cakes in the premises and home of a 30-year-old man. The man has been charged with drug possession.

Police in Krasnystaw detained a 30-year-old resident of Piaski district after searches in Fajsławice district and Piaski district revealed marijuana, mephedrone and cakes containing THC, according to roztocze.net.
Officers, acting on the basis of their own findings, searched utility rooms in one of the catering establishments in Fajsławice district on Wednesday. They had information that the 30-year-old man might be in possession of drugs. Their suspicions proved correct.
Marijuana and mephedrone were found in the premises. The confiscated substances were sufficient to prepare approximately 200 dealer portions.
"During the operations carried out, officers revealed intoxicating agents in the form of marijuana and psychotropic substances in the form of mephedrone," said junior inspector Natalia Janeczek.
Another discovery awaited at the man's place of residence. There, police officers confiscated cakes containing THC – the psychoactive substance present in cannabis.
All confiscated substances and cakes were sent for further testing. The detained 30-year-old man has been charged with drug possession, which carries a penalty of up to three years' imprisonment. The investigation is being conducted by police in Krasnystaw.
