Dramatic events occurred in the Mszana Dolna municipality in Małopolska voivodeship. A 19-year-old teenager killed his ex-girlfriend – also 19 – and then apparently took his own life.
Despite rapid medical intervention, it was not possible to save the girl. Prosecutors and officers are now working to fully clarify what happened.
The District Prosecutor's Office in Nowy Sącz announced that two separate proceedings are in place in this case. One concerns the death of the woman as a result of another person's actions, while the other concerns the apparent suicide of the young man. The aim of both investigations is to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the tragedy unfolded and to gather all relevant circumstances.
