Seven people were injured by a student wielding a knife at a school in Poland. The 19-year-old perpetrator was arrested, with two victims hospitalised in serious condition.

Seven people were injured on Wednesday during a knife attack at a school in the city of Ostrołęka in Poland, the local police announced, confirming that the perpetrator had been taken into custody.
According to Ethnos, Ostrołęka Mayor Paweł Niewiadomski confirmed the incident and the injury of several people. "The most important news is that the situation has been brought under control," he said characteristically.
Two of the seven wounded are hospitalised in serious condition, according to the same information.
The private television network RMF FM reported that the perpetrator is a 19-year-old student at the same school. According to RMF FM, most of the victims are students, whilst among the injured is also a teacher.
