False bomb alarms: fifth arrest in case of threats against TV station
Warsaw police have detained a 29-year-old man suspected of reporting a false bomb threat at a television station. A total of five people have been arrested in the case so far.

According to Interia, officers from the Warsaw Department for Combating Terrorism and Murder have detained a 29-year-old man from Otwock County in connection with a series of false alarms about threats to life. Warsaw police announced the detention on Saturday via social media.
The man is suspected of committing an offence under Article 224a § 1 of the Criminal Code. He is accused of making two calls to the emergency number 112 on 18 May, during which he reported a threat of detonating an explosive device at one of the television stations.
"The man admitted to the alleged act. Police officers secured two mobile phones and a computer at the scene," the police statement reads.
The prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw requested the temporary arrest of the suspect for a period of three months. The District Court for Warsaw Mokotów approved this request.
Police emphasised that investigative actions were conducted on multiple fronts and required cooperation between the Department for Combating Cybercrime and the Investigation and Detection Department of the Capital Police Headquarters with the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.
Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration Marcin Kierwiński announced on Saturday that a total of five people have been detained in the case, three of whom have been placed in pre-trial detention. "Intensive police operations are ongoing. Further arrests and investigative activities are planned. Zero tolerance for criminals," the minister emphasised.
