A 42-year-old man was apprehended by police in Strzelce following a traffic stop. The reason for the stop was excessive speeding.
During examination of his documents and the driver's condition, it emerged that the man had a court-imposed ban on driving all motor vehicles in force for life. Nevertheless, he decided to get behind the wheel.
During further inspection, officers discovered a significant quantity of narcotics in the vehicle. The weight of the seized substances was close to 200 grammes.
The detainee now faces a prison sentence of up to 10 years. The man was placed in custody.
