Google News PL — Crime (pl) reports that police from Nisk have brought charges against three residents of Nisk County in connection with the theft of a pouch above the Tanew River in Ulanów.

At the end of June, two people resting above the Tanew from the Ulanów municipality briefly left their belongings. When they returned, the pouch was gone. It contained documents, bank cards and two mobile phones. The victims estimated their losses at over 4,000 zloty.

Officers from Nisk established that the theft was carried out by a 29-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man – both residents of Rudnik nad Sanem. The couple was detained. During a search of their residence, police officers found narcotic substances totalling approximately 213 grammes.

A district officer from the Police Headquarters in Rudnik nad Sanem found the stolen items – the suspects had hidden them in a forest.

In the course of further investigative proceedings, it emerged that a 36-year-old resident of Nisk was also involved in the case. The man attempted to sell part of the stolen goods. In doing so, it came to light that he was wanted by an arrest warrant for the purpose of being taken to a penal facility to serve a one-year prison sentence.

The woman and the 32-year-old will answer for theft and possession of prohibited substances. The older man was charged with receiving stolen goods. All of them face a sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
