Dawid Bratko, known as the "King of Legal Highs", has been arrested in Tanzania on the basis of a Polish extradition request. The arrest came shortly after Onet journalists revealed his presence on Zanzibar.

Dawid Bratko, more widely known by the pseudonym "King of Legal Highs", has fallen into the hands of local authorities in Tanzania. The arrest of the man took place in connection with a formal extradition request submitted by the Polish side.
The arrest came on the heels of journalistic publications. An Onet team had previously located Bratko on Zanzibar, describing his new life on the African island. Several days after these materials were published, the arrest took place.
Details regarding the charges that Bratko may face upon being handed over to Polish authorities have not yet been officially presented. However, it is known that in the past he was a central figure in the trade of legal high substances in Poland.
The extradition procedure now requires coordinated action by Tanzanian and Polish authorities. The date of handover of the suspect to the country remains unconfirmed for now.
