A 21-year-old resident of Brenna will face trial for using violence against police officers, shouting threats at witnesses and destroying property. The court decided on three months' remand in custody for the suspect.

The incident occurred during an intervention by uniformed services in this locality in Silesia. The young man resisted officers, injuring them using a tool that posed a threat to life. He additionally insulted law enforcement and destroyed objects around him. People observing the incident also fell victim to verbal threats.

Investigators gathered evidence material allowing them to formulate numerous charges against the 21-year-old. It turned out that he is not a person without a criminal record – he had previously been convicted of fights and assault. He now faces a prison sentence of up to ten years for the offences committed.

The matter is being handled by the police unit in Cieszyn under the supervision of the local prosecutor's office. The investigation is ongoing.
