Former head of the Presidential Office Michał Dworczyk lost four lawsuits concerning the revocation of his security clearance for classified information. The decision was made by the Military Counter-Intelligence Service in connection with the email scandal.

In April of this year, the Provincial Administrative Court dismissed four complaints filed by the former deputy defence minister. The politician had demanded the nullification of the decision to strip him of the right to access documents marked with confidentiality classifications.
The institution that made the decision to revoke the security certificate was the Military Counter-Intelligence Service. The entire matter is connected to the leak of Dworczyk's private correspondence to the internet in mid-2021. The published emails were said to contain sensitive data.
According to RMF FM, judges are currently preparing written justifications for the rulings. Once these are made available, the accused will have thirty days to file an appeal with the Supreme Administrative Court.
In the first quarter of this year, the prosecutor's office filed an indictment against the politician with the criminal court. The charges accuse him of neglecting duties during the period he held government office. According to the investigative file, Dworczyk conducted official correspondence through a private, unsecured email account. In the prosecutors' view, these messages concerned matters vital to the functioning of the state and the security of citizens.
Moreover, the politician is accused of destroying evidence. The prosecutor claims that after the breach of his email account was discovered, Dworczyk deleted incoming messages and login data. This was allegedly intended to hinder the establishment of who carried out the cyber-attack.
After being informed of the charges in December of last year, the politician refused to give testimony. For the allegations against him, he faces a custodial sentence of between three months and five years. In October 2025, Members of the European Parliament voted to strip him of his immunity.
