Officers from Warsaw's Wola and Bemowo districts apprehended a 33-year-old man suspected of attempted murder. According to investigators' findings, the attacker forced his way into the victim's premises and attacked him with a blade. The court ordered him into remand custody for a period of three months.
As Onet reports, the incident occurred in the capital. The suspect was quickly traced and detained by police officers.
The case is currently ongoing. The criminal code provides for imprisonment of eight to twenty-five years for attempted murder, and in particularly cruel cases even life imprisonment.
