Police officers from Nakło district have detained an 18-year-old resident of Nakło nad Notecią who had a significant quantity of drugs and a firearm in his car.
Officers obtained information about the young man's involvement in drug-related crime. They travelled to the indicated address, where they observed a man leaving a vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered nearly a quarter kilogramme of marijuana, an electronic scale, cash, as well as an air gun and a firearm.
The detainee was charged with possession of a significant quantity of narcotics. This offence carries a sentence of between one and ten years imprisonment.
The air gun was sent to an expert who established that it is a unit not subject to the requirement to obtain a permit.
