Police officers from the County Police Headquarters in Police and the police station in Mierzeyn detained a 50-year-old man suspected of fencing. They searched his flat and garage, where they found five cars stolen in criminal offences.

In the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, officers detained a 50-year-old man who was suspected of trading in items derived from criminal offences. The man lived in the vicinity of Police. Law enforcement officers searched his home and an adjoining garage building. Inside they discovered five cars that had previously been stolen. The total value of the recovered property amounted to nearly six hundred thousand zlotys.
The detained man has already been charged. The court ordered two months of pre-trial detention for him. Police continue to gather information about the circumstances of the entire case.
If the prosecution proves his guilt, he faces a sentence of three months to five years imprisonment.
