A 51-year-old funeral home employee got behind the wheel of a hearse with 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. In the cargo area of the vehicle was a coffin with human remains. The stop took place on roads near Częstochowa.

The man decided to drive the vehicle despite being clearly intoxicated. Police officers stopped him for a traffic check. An alcohol breathalyser test confirmed that the driver was under strong influence of alcohol.

In the vehicle driven by the intoxicated 51-year-old, a deceased person's body in a coffin was being transported. This situation raised particular concern due to the nature of the service being carried out and the flagrant violation of road safety regulations.

The man now faces criminal liability for driving whilst intoxicated. The case was reported by Onet Wiadomości.
