Police officers from the unit combating virtual crime have detained a man who threatened an attack on a kindergarten facility. The 29-year-old posted messages online announcing his intention to strike one of Poznań's childcare facilities for the youngest – reports Onet.
In internet posts, the perpetrator announced the use of a machete. His threats concerned three educational facilities located in the same district of Poznań. Due to the real danger, law enforcement agencies responded swiftly.
Officers were able to identify the author of the posts and conducted an intervention before he could carry out his plans. Thanks to the operational readiness of the services, a potential catastrophe was averted.
