According to RMF24, an altercation between a 41-year-old Pole and a 29-year-old Georgian took place in Kutno on Friday. The injured party was taken to hospital in Łódź with serious bodily injury.
The District Police Headquarters in Kutno reported that officers quickly established the identity of the suspect and arrested him at his place of residence on the same day.
"Police officers, after receiving a report, established the details of the 29-year-old Georgian suspected of causing serious bodily injury and arrested him at his place of residence on the same day," according to a police statement.
Daria Olczyk, police spokesperson in Kutno, told the Panorama Kutna service that the attacker was intoxicated at the time of the incident. On Sunday, he is to be brought to the District Prosecutor's Office in Kutno, where he will face charges.
