Police in Małopolska apprehend man in hiding for 15 years
Police officers from the Małopolska Voivodeship have apprehended a man sentenced in 2011 for a brutal robbery in Kraków. The wanted man had evaded criminal liability for the last 15 years.
The apprehension was made possible through cooperation between Małopolska police and so-called "bounty hunters" – specialist units pursuing perpetrators of crimes who have remained at large for extended periods.
The man had been wanted since a sentence was issued for the robbery committed in the capital of Małopolska. For more than fifteen and a half years he managed to hide from law enforcement authorities.
Details concerning the circumstances of the apprehension and the location where the wanted man had been staying were not made public. Police confirmed only the fact of the perpetrator's apprehension.
