Man wanted on arrest warrant for drug trafficking arrested in Wola, Silesia
Silesian "bounty hunters" have arrested a 34-year-old wanted for drug trafficking. The man will serve more than 6 years in prison.
Silesian police apprehend 34-year-old wanted for drug trafficking
According to RMF24, officers from the Search and Identification Department of the Regional Police Headquarters in Katowice – known as "bounty hunters" – arrested Arkadiusz P. several days ago in Wola in Silesian Voivodeship. The man was being pursued by the District Court in Kraków for drug trafficking and cross-border trade in significant quantities of prohibited substances.
The search began in May 2025. In August, the court issued an arrest warrant for the man, and in October 2025 officers from the Targeted Search Unit of the Regional Police Headquarters in Katowice took over the case.
Officers analysed gathered information and established an address where the suspect could be staying with his partner. On 7 August they arrived at the indicated location. Junior aspirant Paweł Kasprzak from the Silesian police press office reported that the 34-year-old was visibly surprised by the police presence and did not expect to be arrested.
Arkadiusz P. was taken to a correctional facility, where he will serve the imposed sentence of 6 years and 3 months in prison.
The Search and Identification Department of the Regional Police Headquarters in Katowice specialises in locating and apprehending the most dangerous criminals. The unit's activities often have an international character and require months of analytical work.
