Drug production near Bydgoszcz. Court delivers verdict
The District Court has concluded proceedings against three men accused of operating an illegal manufacturing facility for psychoactive substances. The case concerned criminal activity conducted in Maksymilianów in the Bydgoszcz district.
The defendants were charged with large-scale drug production. During the trial, it was established that they jointly operated a laboratory in which they manufactured narcotics intended for further distribution.
Marcin P. received a sentence of four years and eight months' imprisonment. The two other defendants – brothers who are Mexican citizens – were sentenced to four years and seven months in prison each. In addition, all three must pay fines and make payments to the Fund for Assistance to Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance.
None of the convicted men appeared in court for the announcement of the verdict. The judgment is not final and may be appealed.
