A resident of Kuźnica municipality fell into the hands of detectives. Officers discovered amphetamine and marijuana stored in his refrigerator and freezer.

Officers from Sokółka detained a 40-year-old resident of Kuźnica municipality. The man is suspected of trading in prohibited substances in large quantities.
Investigators obtained information that the suspect may have illegal substances in his home. During a search of the property, uniformed officers found over 750 grammes of white powder. Preliminary tests showed it to be amphetamine and marijuana.
An unusual hiding place turned out to be household appliances – a refrigerator and freezer. The seized goods would have been sufficient to produce over 770 retail doses. The black-market value of the found substances reaches over 23,000 zloty.
The detainee was charged at the prosecutor's office with trafficking in a significant quantity of intoxicating and psychotropic substances. The court ordered a three-month custodial remand for the man. This type of offence carries a prison sentence of up to 12 years under the penal code.
