Świebodzin: Police arrest 35-year-old with 2.7 kg of drugs
Criminal investigators from Świebodzin secured amphetamine, mephedrone, ecstasy and marijuana. The main suspect faces up to 10 years imprisonment.

Lubuskie Police have arrested a 35-year-old man suspected of drug trafficking in the Świebodzin area. According to lubuska.policja.gov.pl, on Monday 21 September criminal investigators carried out a series of searches in several designated locations, securing almost 2.7 kilograms of various narcotic substances.
As a result of the operation, officers found amphetamine, mephedrone, ecstasy tablets and marijuana. Over 11,000 złoty in cash was also seized. The suspect had made drug sales his permanent source of income and was acting under conditions of recidivism — he committed the offence shortly after previously serving a sentence for similar crimes.
The 35-year-old was also charged with driving a vehicle under the influence of narcotic substances. The court has remanded him in custody for three months. He faces a sentence of between one year and ten years imprisonment, which can be increased by up to half the maximum sentence due to recidivism.
Three other individuals were also charged in this case. The District Prosecutor's Office in Świebodzin is conducting the investigation under supervision, and police have not ruled out further arrests.
