According to wloclawek.naszemiasto.pl, criminal investigators from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Włocławek arrested a 29-year-old resident of the city at his home address. During a search, officers secured cannabis.
The man has been charged with possession of a significant quantity of narcotic substances. He faces a sentence of up to 10 years' imprisonment.
At the request of investigators, a court imposed three months' remand in custody on the suspect. The information was confirmed by Sergeant Renata Wróblewska-Czaplicka, press officer for the Commander of the Municipal Police in Włocławek.
The arrest is part of broader action by Włocławek police aimed at combating drug crime, including inspections of places where narcotics may potentially be stored.
