Stuu brought to Poland, prosecution announces procedural proceedings

Stuart K.-B., known to the wider public as YouTuber Stuu, has been remanded in custody at a Warsaw detention centre following his extradition from the United Kingdom — according to RMF24. The man is 34 years old and holds dual citizenship: British and Polish.

The case is linked to the so-called Pandora Gate scandal, concerning relationships between certain popular Polish online content creators and minors. The prosecution intends to charge K.-B. with sexual offences against girls under the age of 15 — which allegedly occurred in 2015 and 2018 — as well as incitement of minors to consume alcohol. Under a Polish arrest warrant, these offences carry a sentence of up to 12 years imprisonment.

Warsaw police announced on the X platform that Stuart K. was brought to Poland by officers from the Escort Department of the Polish National Police Headquarters, with the assistance of Warsaw officials.

Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek commented on the case. He emphasised that "millions of views do not protect against Polish justice", and announced that "next week the prosecution will begin procedural proceedings with him in the case of the most serious charges concerning harm to minors". "No influence, no celebrity status and no border will protect against liability. Justice will hold everyone accountable. Without exception," stressed the head of the justice ministry.

K.-B. had been held in a British detention centre since October 2023, awaiting a decision on extradition. The British court approved it in February of this year, however the man appealed against this decision, arguing that the Polish judge who issued the arrest warrant acted under political pressure — Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced at the time that those responsible for Pandora Gate would be brought before the courts. In July, the London court upheld the decision to hand him over to Polish authorities.

Stuart K.-B. was born and raised in the United Kingdom. He became popular in Poland as an online content creator — first under the pseudonym Polski Pingwin, subsequently as Stuu. His YouTube channel, on which he published films related to Minecraft, and later lifestyle and comedy content, had approximately 4.1 million followers. Over time he withdrew from online activity and returned to the United Kingdom to care for his mother, who has cancer.
