The body of a 29-year-old woman was discovered in Jędrzejów during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. Within a few hours, police apprehended a 19-year-old man suspected of involvement in the incident. Nearly 150 officers were deployed in the operation.

Shortly before midnight in Jędrzejów, the body of a young woman was discovered. Officers arrived at the scene immediately and began resuscitation. Following the arrival of the medical rescue team, doctors continued attempts to save the life of the 29-year-old. Unfortunately, all efforts proved unsuccessful.
Initial examination suggested that someone's actions had contributed to her death. The commander of the local police station activated an alert for his subordinate units. Nearly 150 officers took part in the search operation – including riot-control units from Kielce, handlers with service dogs and pilots of unmanned aircraft.
Quick investigative work made it possible to identify a suspect. Shortly after 3am, a 19-year-old was detained in the vicinity of Jędrzejów. Following examination by a doctor, the man was placed in custody. Investigators are now conducting proceedings to clarify all circumstances of the case.
