Dominican "El Negro Amante" extradited to Puerto Rico for murder and illegal firearm possession
The Dominican Republic handed over Ramón Martínez, alias "El Negro Amante", to Puerto Rican authorities. He faces charges of first-degree murder and firearm-related offences.

According to acento.com.do, the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) and the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), with support from the United States Marshals Service (U.S. Marshals), completed the extradition of Dominican citizen Ramón Martínez, known as "Ramón Arturo Ortega Concepción" or "El Negro Amante".
The process took place at Las Américas International Airport (AILA-JFPG), where the defendant was in custody and handed over to United States agents. They transferred him on a commercial flight to Puerto Rico to place him at the disposal of the judicial authorities of that jurisdiction.
Martínez, 44 years old, faces charges in Puerto Rico for first-degree murder, attempted homicide, carrying and illegal possession of firearms, as well as discharging and pointing a firearm.
His capture had taken place in August during a coordinated operation in the Villa del Café Segunda sector, in Santo Domingo Oeste. During the intervention, authorities seized a vehicle, an HS-2000 brand pistol with its magazine and several rounds of ammunition, as well as documentary evidence.
