Officers of the uniformed police are investigating the death of a female found inside a Toyota Tacoma in the Bejucos neighbourhood of Isabela.

A woman lost her life in the early hours of Monday after being found with a bullet wound to the head inside a parked vehicle in the area known as La Mina, in the Bejucos neighbourhood of the municipality of Isabela.
According to reporting by Primera Hora, the emergency control centre received a call shortly after 6 a.m. alerting them to a possible case of someone attempting to take their own life. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the lifeless body of the woman inside a white Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck.
To date, authorities have not released the name of the deceased. Members of the Criminal Investigation Body (CIC) attended the scene to collect evidence and clarify what happened.
It is unknown whether this was a suicide or if third parties were involved in the incident.
