Man shot dead on Canóvanas road; victim had criminal record
Aneudi Caraballo Filomeno, 44, was found dead from gunshot wounds in the Cambalache neighbourhood, Canóvanas. The Carolina Criminal Investigation Corps is investigating the crime.

According to telemundopr.com, authorities are investigating the murder of a man that occurred around 1:40 p.m. on Monday on road PR-962, kilometre 2.5, in the Cambalache neighbourhood in Canóvanas.
A call to the 911 Emergency System alerted officers to gunshots in the sector. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the man's body riddled with bullets.
The victim was identified as Aneudi Caraballo Filomeno, 44, and a resident of Canóvanas. The deceased had a criminal record for violations of the Controlled Substances Act.
Agent Carlos Corchado Sierra, attached to the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Carolina, along with prosecutor Yolanda Morales, are continuing to lead the investigation.
